Zoom Phone
Connecting Zoom Phone to your Lucent dashboard
Your Lucent dashboard can include phone reporting: call volume, answered vs. missed, call duration, and text-message activity, refreshed daily. The connection is read-only — it cannot place calls, send messages, or change any of your Zoom settings — and you can turn it off from your own Zoom account at any time.
Before you connect
- You'll need to be signed in to Zoom as the account owner or admin (whoever manages users and billing).
- Recommended: max out your call-log retention first, so your dashboard starts with as much history as possible. In the Zoom web portal: Account Management → Account Settings → search "retention" → set call log retention to the longest option your plan allows. History that has already aged out of Zoom cannot be recovered.
Adding the connection (about one minute)
- Open the connect link we send you (it starts with https://www.lucentai.us/zoom/start).
- Sign in to Zoom if prompted.
- Review the permissions on Zoom's consent screen — they're all read-only — and click Allow.
- You'll land on a Lucent confirmation page. That's it — no app to build, no codes to send us.
What happens next
Within a day, our systems make a first read-only pull of your call history. We'll then send you a list of every phone user and extension we can see, and you mark: who belongs on the dashboard, whose text-message activity should be included, and any personal lines to leave out. Nothing appears on your dashboard until you've confirmed that list. After that, your phone data refreshes automatically every night.
What the connection can access
Read-only access to: call logs and call history, text-message activity (counts and metadata), and your phone system's directory — users, sites, call queues, auto receptionists, phone numbers, and devices. It cannot access meetings or recordings, and cannot make any changes to your account.
Removing the connection
In the Zoom web portal (as admin): Admin → Advanced → App Marketplace → Manage → Added Apps → find "Lucent AI Dashboard Connector" → Remove. Access stops immediately, and we delete the connection's access tokens from our systems within 24 hours. You can also just email us and we'll disconnect it from our side.
Reconnecting
If the connection ever expires or is removed and you want it back, use the same connect link — or ask us and we'll resend it.
